To give a body to the invisible translation, in the metaphorical sense of understanding (and accepting) alterity through some form of representational transfer. To give a body to being in-between different cultures, in-between the past and the present , in- between places. To give a body to the void through which we must travel to attain the object of our destination. This body generates energy and motivation. Visitors are separated into 3 groups of which each has its own sector in the gallery space. Each sector is designed for a different activity. The first to translate the chapter “the education of the un-artist” from the book “essays on the blurring of art and life” by Allan Kaprow. The second to publish the translation. And the third to give a talk about the published reader. The following day during the official opening of the exhibition “ Allan Kaprow, art as life” the produced masks and readers are sold to the visitors.
