However, clarity, precision, and economy are still important when communicating. Spam is characterized as any “commercial “ electronic communication from an unknown sender that the receiver did not ask for. The attitude toward the usefulness of spam is a function of two beliefs: perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. A person’s belief refers to his or her subjective likelihood that performing a positive behavior to the spam will lead to a specific outcome.
